CELEBRATE GENEROSITY

A few weeks ago I received an email from Kayleigh Schadwinkel-Hickman, POYDS Owner / Dance Entrepreneur / Professional Traveling Choreographer. Kayleigh has such a generous heart and I loved this idea to create a win-win-win situation.

Here is what she asked:

I just wanted to stop in and share with you some additional opportunities to stay connected and involved in POYDS and my dance companies that I feel may be up your alley especially with how thoughtful and community minded you are. As I may have mentioned in one of our past SHE interactions together, we are taking a group of students to NYC this summer to perform on Broadway in which we have one student in particular who is in need of some financial assistance to make this trip possible for herself. This student is a high school freshman this year who is very passionate about musical theater and the arts. This will be her first time on our POYDS Colorado performance troupe. Her dream is to be on Broadway and to pursue musical theater as a possible career; however financially she is needing support to make this happen.

Due to this, I am reaching out to some key business owners like yourself to see if they would be willing to support her in this regard. If so, with your support, we will be using the payment to help this student pay for their trip payments and in return, we have created some amazing business advertising and network opportunities to utilize to both meet this student seeking financial need at one of these events along with some local and regional business advertising opportunities to be a part and involved in the troupe’s community June Broadway bound send-off concert. Advertising benefits and tiers can be seen below and include the following:

The email went on to outline the advertising levels and benefits. AMAZING!

Kayleigh created win-win-wins!

Win for POYDS – explaining what they are up to, that they care about their students, keeping connections alive with other business owners

Win for the Student – she gets to have this amazing experience to be on Broadway – having earned her spot on the troupe, this could be a life-changing trip.

Win for the business owner – we get to feel great about our selves, get additional sponsorship/exposure to the POYDS audience, and get to strengthen our public brand as a generous business.

While you are feeling generous –

I know the original deadline passed but there may still be ways to support this student or others – Reach out to Kayleigh via email or check out their dance classes for children and adults!
